MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Authorities have announced criminal charges against four individuals in connection with the deadly mass shooting at Savannah Williams Park that left three people dead and nine others injured. The arrests represent a major development in the ongoing investigation, which has involved local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies working to determine the circumstances surrounding one of the county’s deadliest recent acts of violence.

The shooting occurred on Sunday, July 19, at Savannah Williams Park on Neely Station Road, where numerous emergency calls reported multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, local police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel responded quickly, securing the scene while providing lifesaving medical care to those injured. Several victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment as investigators began processing the crime scene.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, the four individuals charged in connection with the shooting have been identified as:

  • Rodney Parker, 21
  • Rashod Parker, 19
  • Ladarius Grimes, 21
  • Tomorris Person, 18

Investigators stated that Rodney Parker was allegedly driving a white Nissan Altima, while Ladarius Grimes was reportedly operating a silver Honda Accord during the events surrounding the shooting. Authorities have not publicly disclosed the specific allegations or individual roles attributed to each suspect, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.

The investigation has involved extensive evidence collection, including interviews with witnesses, the review of surveillance footage, forensic analysis, and coordination among multiple law enforcement agencies. Officials say investigators continue working to establish a complete timeline of events and determine exactly what led to the violence.

At this time, authorities have not publicly identified a motive for the shooting. Detectives are continuing to examine all available evidence, including any interactions between those involved before the incident, to better understand the circumstances that resulted in the deadly attack.

The mass shooting has had a profound impact on the Madison County community. Residents continue to mourn the three victims who lost their lives while offering prayers and support for the nine individuals who survived but were injured during the incident. Community leaders have expressed their condolences to the victims’ families and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting those affected by the tragedy.

Law enforcement officials have also emphasized that public assistance remains an important part of the investigation. Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the shooting or who may have photographs, videos, or other information related to the incident to come forward. Investigators believe additional evidence from members of the public could help clarify the sequence of events and strengthen the case.

While the arrests mark a significant milestone, officials stress that the investigation remains active. Additional evidence continues to be reviewed, and investigators have not ruled out the possibility of further charges or additional developments as the case progresses through the criminal justice system.

The tragedy has also renewed discussions throughout the community regarding public safety, violence prevention, and support services for victims and their families. Local officials have pledged to continue working alongside community organizations and law enforcement partners to address the lasting effects of the shooting and promote efforts aimed at reducing violent crime.

As the legal proceedings move forward, authorities are expected to release additional information through official channels regarding court appearances, evidence presented in the case, and any future developments. In the meantime, the Madison County community continues to honor the memory of those who lost their lives, support the recovery of the injured, and stand in solidarity with the families whose lives have been forever changed by this devastating act of violence.
