He was a devoted father who treasured every opportunity to spend time with his daughters, Cadence Richardson, Jaida, Jazmine, and Jalaylah Bennetts. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Beverly and Calvin Schenk, whose memory remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Family and friends are invited to honor Josh’s life at Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Family visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a public memorial gathering from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Mike Haney. His inurnment will take place at a later date, with additional details to be announced by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses, with donations payable to Jenika Walsh. They have also expressed sincere appreciation for the overwhelming support, prayers, and acts of kindness shown during this difficult time.
